There was no one else around for miles. We were tucked away in a hot spring behind the volcano without anyone to see us. The steam that rose from the water felt like a veil of privacy, keeping us out of sight from prying eyes.

I put my arms around him and kissed him deeply.

I’d wanted to do this again from the moment we’d stopped kissing on the beach. Coming together now felt as though that moment never ended. We were engaged in a perfect continuation of the kiss that had been interrupted by our own nerves. I was determined not to be scared off this time. I wanted Emmett, and I knew he wanted me.

Emmett's hands settled on my hips below the surface, and with the distance between us closed, it felt like we were in a world all our own. The heat of the spring which surrounded us was nothing compared to our searing kiss, the warmth that flooded my body simply from being near him. It was new to me, this level of arousal, and like all new things, I wanted to explore it fully.

We kissed hungrily as I ran my hands through his dark hair, trailing gradually down his neck and back. I touched my way over his arms and across his chest, experiencing so much of his skin and the strong, lean muscle underneath for the first time. Every time we parted for breath, I caught sight of his eyes, made even darker by the way his pupils were blown wide in excitement. The intensity of his gaze stoked the fire inside me. I cupped his face as our lips met, tracing the sharp line of his jaw. He grew bold enough to let his own hands wander and I couldn’t contain a moan of satisfaction.

His hands slid up from my hips over my waist, coming up to cup my breasts through the fabric of my bikini. He kneaded and massaged at me lovingly. After a moment, grew impatient with the bathing suit, pushing the fabric up over my breasts to bunch uselessly at my clavicles. He traced my nipples with his thumbs, drawing a heady gasp from me. The juxtaposition of one touch to the next, gentle then sharp, kept me on edge, squirming in anticipation.

We moved backward through the water until Emmett was up against the wall of the spring, feeling around for solid ground. He located a ledge to lean his weight, and as soon as he was settled I climbed onto his lap, our bodies melding together. I rolled my hips against his thigh, quickly growing desperate for contact, and dropped a hand down between his legs to feel for his own interest.

He was hard through his trunks, and the breathless way he said my name in my ear sent a shiver through me, despite the heat around us.

“I want this,” I told him as I kissed a line down his throat. “I want you.”

Emmett exhaled shakily, struggling to form words. It didn’t surprise me that he was still a man of few words at a time like this.
